Outfit Change

You've all gone through it, hell, you've probably got somewhere late (like me) because of it. The infamous outfit change. I don't know if you're like me, but I truly avoid planning outfits because sadly it never goes as planed. Hence, what happened today. Luckily I decided to center my outfit change around my DIY dusty green vest, since I've been depending on it lately. Also, I'm getting slapped in the back of the head a lot by my mum for wearing my lace up platforms a lot. To quote her: "LET THEM BREATHE!". But how can I? They're just way to comfy.
Then for my second and thankfully last outfit I decided to do something I normally don't do. You all know it's no secret how I shy away from bright colors. If I do incorporate you'll probably have to play hide and seek with my outfit to find it. It's not that I don't like color, it's just that it's not my style. I just simply like dark and neutral colors. But today, I decided to gamble and use my bright salmon pink scarf to compliment my green vest and I added my leopard loafers to add a hint of print.
Last but not least, I decided to wing in with my nails and tried a little idea I've been having. Keep in mind that it was done last minute and my nails were already a berry color. The idea/inspiration comes from some Miu Miu peep toe pumps I've been eying for some time but will never have. I was inspired by the beautiful salmon pink with the glitter contrast. I'm going to do it right the next time I do my nails, but it's really easy to do!

Work Attire

I've written about what to wear for a job interview but, what comes after? After getting the job choosing your outfit is still important. However, there are days where we just don't feel like dressing up. But to seek comfort one does not need to resort to sweats and uggs (shudder). There is such a thing as style in comfort. Wear some comfy stylish clothes. Leggings and a cool shirt or jumper and a pair of cool flats and throw a big comfy fun scarf and you're good to go. My point is, you should always be conscience that you look good. If you look good, you feel good. It does boost up your confidence to know that you look presentable.

Glamour! At Erika Peña

Halloween is almost here (yey!) and what better way to celebrate it then to be invited to see a new collection launch. As I've said before, after being exposed to jewelry I saw that I do have a passion for it and without it, your outfit is incomplete. As always, when I got to Erika's new "I" collection launch I did a 'b' line straight for the goodies. I wasted no time taking pictures and drooling over the loveliness of the collection. It was interesting to see how with a few well placed lines, in the piece, she could create the illusion of the eye without having to give a lot of detail. And with the sudden trend with eyes, evil and other, it couldn't have come at a better time.
I swear, I shouldn't be allowed to enter the store (well, by my ath). I get overcome by the feeling of wanting to buy everything. Hell, even this time I fell victim to my desires and bought another piece. In my defense, I'm building my own collection of worthy jewels so I can pass on. Who knows? I may even do a giveaway with an Erika piece someday... if I hit 100 readers here. But guys, don't miss out on this collection, go see the store, meet the people, talk with the designer. Get that whole view on the collection. It never disappoints to learn more and more about it.
I went as a vampire enthusiast. The whole launch was True Blood themed, which means everyone had their vamp on!

Early Birthday Present

So here they are, my early birthday gift! I truly couldn't wait too much to get these, hence the early gift, because I was scared they would run out. It happened already and I learned my lesson. I truly love these shoes, they're from Romwe. As you know, if you read my Balenciaga boots post, they make very good quality shoes. I also didn't hesitate with the size, I'm an 8 which is 39UK, they're true to size. I do suggest you break them in a bit before fully wearing them out, the edges will blister your ankle. I'm still figuring how to properly walk in these, I just stomp around rather gracelessly... I have witnesses of this. But all in all I'm in love and I cannot wait to experiment with outfits!

By the way guys I got a Twitter & a Lookbook:
