Is it Rainy or is it Sunny?

 The weather is so bipolar and mental here, I'm beginning to think it's schizophrenic and named each climate. Now, even though the weather is mental it didn't stop us from having a good time and getting off our lazy bums. We went to the capital of Puerto Rico where I took some footage and will show later on another posts. We found some vintage shops but they were ridiculously expensive so we obviously made a b-line out of there. It was super rainy in the beginning then it got really hot! WE.WERE.GETTING.COOKED! Needless to say we didn't last long in San Juan. 

 After San Juan, we went to good ol' Walmart since I'd heard they brought Hard Candy cosmetics. There we got a couple of things and movies which kept us entertained for the rest of the day. The next day we went to one of my aunts' house, which I adore since it looks like a fairy forest. We ate paella and relaxed for a bit, until I got a fever and had to return. But I'm ok, and I'm really happy to show you all what I got.

Blog Design Up-date!

 Just wanted to let you guys know that I changed my blog a bit. I didn't like how the pictures clashed with the links. Now I can put a nice sized picture without it being disturbed. Everything I wanted to keep is down bellow at the end of the page. The archive, followers, links, etc. Also, I've been contemplating re-doing the banner and logo as well as changing the name. I'm still thinking about it, so let me know what you guys think is best.

Au Lait

 Recently my friend Brenda and I got some skin/hair products that sounded lovely. they're called Au Lait, which means milk, which also means it's good for your skin. The kit brought a loofah, a shampoo, body wash, soap and body butter. I've been using it some a couple of days now and so far I love it. It's from Scotland and it's supposed to be really good for you. It smells really, really good. Kind of a clean and fresh smell. The loofah is divine for exfoliating and it's adorable. The packaging is really cute also, I got it for $5. The shampoo works really well also, not the best I've tried, but worth it. The body wash and lotion, those I love. They leave my skin really soft and smelling very nice. All in all, for $5, I think it was worth the try. Who knows? If I see the big bottle around I'll probably buy it again, but I wont necessarily go out of my way to look for it either.

The Undying Love of Tights & Shoes

 Lets face it, how can tights go wrong?! Well, unless it's a horrible pattern. But black tights are essential in any wardrobe. I spoke of this before. Now it's time to pair them up with shoes! I personally prefer to pair them with ankle boots and so on up, but some flats look good, and of course with heels. Tights are just a signature thing I do, and pairing them up with awesome shoes can boost your outfit, especially if it's all black and some statement colour shoes. I picked my Top 10 shoes to wear  with tights and I'll be displaying them in  photos and a video. My 10th pair of shoes isn't on the video or the photos, since the black doc martens decided to flee from my room. But do not fret! I wear my black docs in almost all my OOTD's on my youtube account.

 Also, if you haven't noticed I cleaned up my blog a bit. Now my archive and followers are at the end of the blog, and I cleaned the widgets at the side a bit. Still, they clash with certain pictures depending on how I place them but who cares... (I kinda do) Anyway, I'm kind of OCD when it comes to my blog or any blog I have. I like things clean, if only that were the case with my room! I may model each shoe &tight with an outfit, but that's pending. Anyway, enjoy!

Unpredictable Weather

 I'm so happy to be back with my best friends of all life. After some problems during the week, it's nice to have a sweet escape. It's been a very fashion filled weekend. We went shopping, read magazines, got some fashion books, etc. The weather is still mental. I swear, it's so hard getting dressed lately. Imagine waking up thinking it's going to be a hot day and then it rains. Desi got a cool new book called In Fashion for a nice price. It's a very insightful book that has a test to see where you would fit in the fashion world. I turned out to be a Critic with a bit of every other position mentioned.

 Presenting my friend Momo. She designs clothing and bags. She was wearing a really nice casual outfit since she got out of the uni not long before I took this. We both have the same boots, they're from TJ Max and I have the brown ones. Plus, she had this cute tote bag with her.

 

 Last, I got a couple of stuff when we all went bargain shopping. You guys would love shopping with all of us. We scream, laugh and make jokes. We were in the fragrance section for about an hour comparing each smells with places or stuff. I got a skirt that, although it looks orange, is a nice peachy/salmon colour which I thought would be perfect for summer. Then I found this awesome high waist polka dot shorts by chance! There were only 3 left and Momo took the others. Also got a mint green cardigan that was just too cute to pass on. The material used to make it is really nice and soft, which I loved. Last I got a BCBG dress for $20 dollars! Can you believe that? I loved the colours, it's off the shoulders but I love the idea of having that paired with a pleather jacket and boots! All in all, it was a nice day, despite the rain.

Everday Make-up Routine

 I've been finding myself doing a smudge-y eye look lately. It's just more edgy and looks nice. Using only browns, I fell if I were to use black, it would look just too crowded for an everyday look. It's easy, you don't use much make-up and the humidity wont make you regret it. I've been wearing less make-up because of a weather, and I opted for a powder foundation than a liquid. It's more light on my skin, so the heat wont make me break out and sweat. The foundation is really light on me but has good enough coverage. Also, I'm find myself using bronzers instead of blushes lately. I never thought I'd pull off bronzer, but it's turned out quite well. My mum gave me a nice bronzer that gives a sligh orange-y bronzy colour that is really flattering on my skin. Almost glow-y. Anyway, watch the video, although it's  not a tutorial. I could always make one too!

Casual is the new black

Okay so, this is what I wore to class on Wednesday. The weather has been mental lately. One minute it's humid with the sun frying me, then it's rainy... Needless to say, it's very difficult trying to figure out what to wear. Here's a video of my OOTD and enjoy!
