Although this bit of news was known for some time, I always forgot to post it. One of my favorite English stores ,called New Look, ships to Puerto Rico. Now, I'm letting you guys know since it's not an expensive store. Go check it out! Also here are a couple of items I plan to get:

This piece is something for a slow and uneventful day. Very comfortable and clean, yet edgy. Make-up is fresh and more laid back. Although I wasn't a fan of the M.A.C Wonder Woman packaging, this colour is to die for.

The Ideal

This is my ideal outfit of the moment, and the music I'd listen to while with it. Threw in all these items that I hope to one day posses. I already ordered the skirt, since you can't find the chiffon mile long skit here, I got it from urbanoutfitters.com. The shoes I will buy when i can, and as for the other things, I have most and they don't need to be expensive.

Part-time job interview attire.

If you've ever been standing in front of your closet not knowing what to wear for a job interview then worry no more, here I'll show you some items so you can impress your interviewer.

  So, as we all know, for job interviews we should keep it on the down-low on colours and accessories. Keep it simple and clean. A nice dark jean and some nude or black pumps would do. As for the top, a nice simple blouse would be perfect, try to keep it in the neutral colour area, whites, blacks, nudes, beige, etc.Then to top it all of, a good black blazer on top would do great! As for accessories, less is always more here, a nice pair of pearl earrings, one simple necklace and one ring would do perfect. Now for the make-up and hair. Keep your make-up simple, do a "No make-up, make-up look". No black liner, switch it for a brown whiskey liner. As for eyeshadow, keep the colours in the browns. For the cheeks, pick a nice light pink colour to just giveyourself a glow. Avoid lipstick and go with a tinted lip gloss, a nice pink would do.  And with this, you will surely impress with your appearance and the rest would be up to you! Job interview

Oh my, but I'm posting a lot lately. Well, I'm proud to say I have a job interview tomorrow at 10am. It's  for a chocolate store, and although it isn't my first choice well, a job is a job. This will be my 1st real job experience and I'm really nervous. I hope I do well. First thing I'll buy with my earnings will be Doc Martens, yes. But alas, let me show you what I got today!

 

Okay, so this is my new MAC lipstick. It's called "Can't get enough" Sheen Supreme Lipstick. I went in looking for a nude colour, only to find out they just fade me out and make me look sick. So next on my list was to check the new Gaga one, since it also donates money, but again it didn't fit me. So I fell in love with this one here, it's a creamy coral-ish burgundy colour and looks really nice. So I'm happy with my buy.

ps: Part of the MAC recycling system is that if you take 6 empty shadow containers you get a free lipstick so DO IT!

Random day spam, mainly some of my drawings in class.

New trimester

So, I started my new trimester this monday and already I had to change a class. I was going to take 3D design & Vector design but it would have proven too much for me, so I changed it to Flash. Truly cannot wait for the days until I finish Graphic Design so I can start with fashion and get out of here. I've been feeling trapped here lately but I have to cope with it and continue. Also have been thinking of getting a nude MAC lip stick so I can use it as a regular lip stick. Oh. and I'm hating my Sephora mineral powder, it's leaving a cake-y feel to my face, which I hate. Must go onward and find a new powder. Sigh, I hope you guys are fairing better than I am!
