Through Thick and Thin

 I've been rendered tired lately. It's not that I've done much, it's just that I'm tired of doing nothing. Well, that's not exactly true, I did work today alone for 4hrs handling 8 clothing rooms by myself. Oh woe is me. But on more exciting news, Halloween is almost upon us and I've been invited to attend a True Blood inspired party of the launch of Erika Peñas new collection. I love seeing new collections, especially in flesh, and since we have to dress up as vampys I have an excuse to use my new Va Va Violet Revlon lipstick. Can I ask for anything better? Yes, I can. My birthday present arrived today to alleviate me from wallowing in self pity because I worked a lot. I'll show you guys what I got, ignoring the fact that my birthday is actually in December. Shh.

Jewelry Collection: Rings

 I decided to do a series of posts showing you guys my jewelry. First I decided to start with rings since it's my favorite accessory. I'm more prone to pick up antique looking rings, somewhat rustic. I like them to look whimsical and just fantasy like. As you can see I have more silver rings than gold. My love for gold accessories is new, so it's a work in progress. I just love how rings give a pop to your outfit. I like details. I've recently discovered that I gravitate more towards quartz stones. I like that galaxy, sparkly twist to my rings. My collection of rings is far from over and I hope to one day pass it on.

And the weather changes...

 Slowly my favorite time of the year is approaching. The time where it gets more chilly, never enough for me, a time a hold dearly to me. October and December are two months that bring me so much joy. The atmosphere that surrounds those two months is just amazing. The mysteriousness that bring October, when everyone for some reason just lets go and act like their true self. The innocence that December brings. How I find myself under a lit Christmas tree looking up into the lightened wonder, with my dog beside me, as a tradition. How I love these times. And also how amazing it feels to be able to layer a bit more without melting away. I can finally endure wearing a coat, I can actually get away with it for a couple of hours. Ah, fall/winter sure is the best! What's the one thing you can't wait to wear these up coming months?

Sick Day

 I truly hate getting sick. I feel so useless. However, on a lighter note, the nights are getting colder here little by little... well, as cold as they can (which is never cold enough imo). I'm eagerly waiting for some packages in the mail. Don't you just love receiving packages? It feels like Christmas! Also, I'm on a never ending quest looking for my perfect pair of creepers. It's frustrating I tell you! If I find a good pair, they don't have it in my size. If they do have my size it's not a worthy looking pair of creepers. Woe is me. My hunt shall still continue then, I shant give up.

Bits & Pieces

 Went with my mum today to Walgreens and we went to the make-up area and got some pieces. I'm really into plummy/berry lipsticks lately. My skin tone doesn't let me use nude lipsticks, so I kind of gave up on that idea some time ago. So, I just got these babies which I'm pretty happy with.

Style Memoir Pt.2

 My style, since the last style memoir I did, has changed a bit but not too much. I've severed a lot that nagging thought about caring what others think. I'm starting to branch out more in my style and seriously not care about others thoughts. I can't please everyone with my way of dressing. You win some, you lose some. But by doing what I want I've gotten to meet more people in the business. I've gotten to answer more advice questions, and you know what? That feels great. It's my dream to help others find their own style and work it. You can dress like a million bucks without paying it. You can dress comfortable without wearing sweats and Uggs- shudder-. You can do all this and still look like you. People don't have to change who they are to dress how they truly want and look good.

Romwe Tights

 Yesterday my free Romwe tights arrived. I won them, along with 49 others, off their website some time ago. They took some time to get here since they come from China, but I was still really excited to get them. Of course, leave it up to me to wear them the next day and get them caught on my ring and create a little whole. All who own tights know how well that goes... Seriously annoying but I'll manage somehow!
