Good & Evil.

Many times I feel like a dance between the line of good & evil, light and dark. This is the beauty of fashion, you get to play dress up and be spontaneous depending on your mood. You can be clean and light. Or you can be wild, crazy and throw in colors and prints and be completely devious. I train myself to not care how others perceive me and just walk like I own the place, oozing my self confidence. Sure, it's not always easy but someone has to do it. And personally, I like the dirty job of making mouths drop and testing the limit. Rejoice!

*I have this on my Polyvore , but for some reason it just didn't want to post it on my blog so I brought it to you!*

New Photo Promo

This last Friday I got together with Lalale to take some pictures I later decided to use as more promo for the Fashion blog. Here are my top shots, they are lovely and we had such a good time. She's very talented and a very good friend of mine so check her out. I know I can definitely count on her for gorgeous shots and to bring red velvet cupcakes.
Also, I'll be interviewing a vintage store called Ouna's Closet, which I will post. I'll have pictures and the Q's & A's, along with the website, the map to the store and the online store. It's a better way for you, the reader, to get a better feeling of the vintage way and also go crazy shopping. So stay posted for that along with my maybe surprise maybe not. I don't want to spoil anything in case it can't happen, although I really want it to since it would be a great chance for me to prove my worth.

NEW BANNER & LOGO!

I'm proud to say that I have made my banner and logo to perfection! To those of you who didn't know, I'm studying to be a Graphic Designer and will use this to my advantage in the Fashion industry. I'm so happy to see how it turned out. I will teak a few things when I get the chance, but for now it's perfect! Swoon~

Edit:
This is still a draft, I will tweak it soon, but I fell in love with it so far so I just had to post it!

Super Exciting News.

Good evening readers! Today I have a couple of really exciting news that I'm so happy to share with you. As I've mentioned a couple of times, I've been looking for a foundation after thinking thoroughly about it. I've always been apprehensive about foundations since I live in an island which tends to be humid. My take on foundation was that it would clog my pores and I'd go mad! I know, a little erratic but...

Anyway! At first I was going to get L'oreal's Souffle Foundation which retails for $16. A couple of days before getting it, I found out they test on animals, which disqualifies them. My next mission was find a good affordable foundation that was healthy and they didn't test on animals. Enter Clinique Perfect Real Make-up foundation (12 shade). It retails for $24 and let me tell you, once I tried it, I fell in love with it in 0.5sec. It blends extremely well and just leaves you looking so natural! Gosh, what a way to start my new love for foundation. With that I got Clinique Blended Powder with the brush in 08 Transparency Neutral, which retails at $20,  and was the cherry on top of the lovely dark chocolate 100calories cake. With this they gave me a 7 day scrub, which I've yet to try so I owe you that review.

After I got all that, I accompanied my mum to get her the best concealer ever, Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer. I have a tube, that retails for $42, and it has lasted me more than a year. I truly suggest this concealer, it's perfect and you need such a little amount for full coverage. Back to my story, while getting the concealer at Sephora, I always check the bastkets with samples and I found the Stila Heart Blush for $14. I've been wanting to test out Stila for some time but never got around to it since they didn't have any in Puerto Rico. Finally they brought the blush and it is lovely.  Nice calm day is just what I needed to relax.

Extra Good News:
I booked an interview with the vintage store called Ouna's Closet so expect the interview soon and some pictures! Wish me luck!

*Also, I hope to bring good news to you guys soon about a little secret. Soon, i don't want to jinx anything*

My Go-To Style Book.

Here's a little secret, I don't always know what to wear. When I have these days I usually turn to one book, Lauren Conrad's Style book. It has helped me a lot and I thank God that I got it. It helps with the basic wardrobe must haves and how to mix them up! I'd advice you to get it if you feel the need to read more about style and seek help. Even the most fashionable people need help from time to time. Also checking Lookbook helps me a lot!

Claire's & Make-up?! What?!

I know it sounds weird, but it's true. Of course, Claire's has always been doing make-up but as a little girl, which was when I went into the store, I never paid much attention. Now all grown up, I always avoid it since it has a weird plastic smell. For some reason I decided to go in and check it out. My mum and I went to see the make-up and it was at a very good price. Of course, I considered it the make-up I'd have on the go or for emergencies. As I got home and tested how pigmented the swatches were, I was surprised to see that most of the palettes I got were very pigmented indeed. Of course, not professional pigmented but it makes do. Most of what I got was ranging between $12 to $5 which is good for beginners or people who need some spare make-up. I still think the accessories at Claire's is too expensive, that hasn't changed. But I say, if you're like me and haven't been into Claire's for years then go check it out. You might be surprised!

This 12 colour palette wasn't very pigmented but I'd use it for more theatrical looks, not everyday so it's okay.
Last but not least, my love for chunky necklaces has grown so I'm on the hunt for some. Got this also at Claire's and made the bow.

Good news, fashion lovers!

Although this bit of news was known for some time, I always forgot to post it. One of my favorite English stores ,called New Look, ships to Puerto Rico. Now, I'm letting you guys know since it's not an expensive store. Go check it out! Also here are a couple of items I plan to get:

(Although I'm not a fan of polo shirts, this one has a Unicorn. How can I not?)

(The other items are pretty self explanatory on why I would want them, especially since they're make-up and Peter Pan collars)

*
Also, I'm going to have a Haul up tonight or tomorrow, so stay tuned!*
